We are seeking a Power Platform Solution Architect to join our Information Systems Department in Swellendam and help us build effective business applications.

POWER PLATFORM SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you will design and develop business solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform. Your focus will be on creating apps, workflows, and dashboards to improve our operations. While your experience with Azure Services and Snowflake is a plus, our immediate need is for someone proficient with the Power Platform.

The key responsibilities of this position are to create scalable applications using Power Apps to streamline business operations, develop automated workflows with Power Automate to replace manual processes, build insightful dashboards and reports with Power BI to aid decision-making and develop and integrate solutions using Python, SQL, and Streamlit where necessary.

As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and propose solutions. You will provide guidance and support to team members on Power Platform tools, and lead training sessions to encourage the adoption of new technologies.

The essentials for this position are experience with the different Microsoft Power Platform Tools, for example, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Proficiency in Python programming is a must.
You will also need to have strong SQL Skills for data querying and integration, strong problem-solving skills, and creativity in designing business solutions. Good communication skills to interact with various teams and stakeholders are essential.
