SSK, a well-established and diversified agricultural company in the Western Cape, is recruiting a qualified individual to work at our Insurance office in George.

FINANCIAL OFFICER: INSURANCE

The ideal candidate will possess a Matric (Grade 12 Certificate) and demonstrate fluency in Afrikaans and English. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, with a particular emphasis on MS Excel. Candidates must possess strong Excel skills, including the ability to utilize formulas, create charts, and perform data analysis. The role requires the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure, excellent communication skills, and strong numeracy skills.

The following qualifications and experience are required: Previous experience in short-term insurance; a minimum NQF Level 4 qualification; RE 5 Qualification; and experience with the System A (Tial) Program.

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, processing and reconciling insurance premium payments; allocating and recording commission payments; responding to inquiries from staff and insurers; administering credit insurance policies; and preparing monthly general insurance returns.
