SSK, a well-established and diversified agricultural business, is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our Information Technology department in George. This hands-on role will involve supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Fortinet and other networking solutions.

NETWORK ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our network infrastructure, including Fortinet products and related services. This role requires a strong understanding of network security demands and the ability to manage complex deployments.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: CompTIA Network+ (N+) Certification, Fortinet NSE 4 (Fortigate Certified Fundamentals), and Fortinet NSE 3 (Fortigate Certified Associate).

Fortinet NSE 5 (Fortigate Certified Professional) and CompTIA A+ Certification are considered advantageous. A valid Driver’s License is mandatory.

Preferred experience includes hands-on deployment and management of Fortinet devices such as FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP. Experience with FortinetManager and FortiAnalyzer is also valuable. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential.

The successful candidate must be adaptable and comfortable working flexible hours. They should be able to perform under pressure, effectively multitask, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. This position may require occasional travel.
